Default How much does a somewhat custom install cost? For one 10w7 sub.

I want to do a good looking clean install in my trunk. Maybe face the forward and have the backside of the box plexi glassed with white neon inside. Would this be super expensive? I have the chance to get a Image dynamic custom setup with full custom back deck, seat, and box that is all painted with 8" components in the top deck and a single 10 in the box. It has a custom back that is plexied also. Really sick setup but it would cost me 1500 without amps. the components and sub included though.

For Sale: 77k miles, 300+ hp, every mod you can think of, 100k warranty.

Also: a Competition sound system, all Pearl white fiberglass enclosures that fit perfectl flush into any B5 chassis. Must see. It is worth over 5k. But selling it for 1 thousand. 1 15" Cerwin Vega, 2 8" Image dynamic mids, custom rear deck and sub box face, plus custom kick panels for the fronts with 5.25" ID Chameleons. Great sound quality system that has won every comp it has been entered.

Default Damn, you A4 guys are BW hogs with those sigs!

Each shop is going to be different. Go talk to as many as you can, and pick the one that you're most comfortable with, not the least expensive.

Default Most shops, depending on the quality and recognition, will charge.....

as much as a good mechanics shop will charge you for serviceing the cars.......about $80 - $120 PER HOUR, so depending on how detailed you want to go will determine the price........You should expect at least 24 working hours to do something nice................If the setup is nice and solid, $1500 is actually fairly reasonable..........hope this helps...........

Default $80-$120 per hour? where are you from?

my shop only charges $45 an hour. no matter what it is that we are doing. we just had a car published in Car Audio we even built a van that Diamond Audio used for their demo vehicle at NOPI nationals.
