Default need advice new at this audi stuff

i have a 2001 a4
it has the bose system in it
the rear right speaker busted and i got it fixed right when i got the car(within a week) and now the left one is busted its only been 2 months... i never had this problem in my lexus with the stock system... now im thinking of getting a whole sound system put in my car. i dont want a ghetto thump where the trunk rattles but i do want a nice bump out of it, that is loud when i want it loud. how many amps should i get? what kinda of subs should i get? what kind of box should i go with a bandpass or a normal one? and what should i do with my rear speakers? thanks for the advice please feel free to e-mail me at mycashoes@hotmail.com
once again thanks.

Default i would go talk to a competent install shop...

and ask all of these questions. listen to what they have installed, the actual vehicles, and see what they have done. you can easily get away with a single 4 channel amp and 1 sub and it will be a whole lot more than you would expect. it doesn't matter what kind of components you use, the installers are going to be the key to the quality of the system.

Default Here's a link detailing the system in my car. Check it out and email me if you want to know more...

Also, I'll post another link on what to look for when finding a stereo installation shop, which is very key!!
