but you should not need this to install the CD, unless there is no factory cd-changer cable in the car....it should already be connected to the head unit (mine was). to unlock the deck you insert the nail-file part into each side, and use the tape opening to pull one side free at a time. then the whole deal slides out. BE CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE WOOD PANELING (i did).

Go to WalMart, the auto section. The radio removal tools are $3.98. It is a pair of "U" shaped steel rods connected by a chain. The rods are inserted in the four holes and release the locking springs.
