Default I need to make a harness for an 8 ga. power wire, ground, and 14 ga. remote....

...so I can easily plug/unplug my subwoofer/amp from my car and remove it. I've gone to radioshack, home depot, and a few hardware stores and was unable to find anything close to what I need. Any suggestions as to where I can something like this or at least some parts to make one? Perhaps online?

Thanks.

Hmm that's a tough one...have you tried a car stereo shop? You can check www.molex.com they make all manner of connectors, I'm sure they will have something that would work...but usually you have to assemble the connectors yourself (crimp pins and such) they make stuff that would easily handle the kinds of currents you'll see.

Default Larry.... I got your hook-up......

I work in the electronics industry as a manufacturer's rep. We rep a company called Anderson Power that makes connectors that will handle the 8-gage. I've got tons of samples here so I'll be happy to send you some.

I'm in Chicago area so I can either mail them to you or meet you somewhere.

I sent you an email too.
