Default Yes, kinda

I use a Garmin GPS3 which suits all my needs - rough long distance navigation. I don't like the new y2k nav system, doesn't give me enough and it sucks to input.

My reputation is that I have a "pigeon homing system" though, a talent for navigation out of the box, so your mileage may vary.

Default It's the OEM Euro kit

It's all you need (spacers and some screws etc). I didn't need any other mounting hardware, remember the Audi radio is DIN, just the face plate is not. So the kit is "all you need" (at leats in the case of my Sony MD deck it was).

Because of connections, it was for free, but you have to pick it up in Europe =)

Default Mine just snug in...

All I did is pull radio out, apply spacers, push Sony in, that was it. No bending or other screwing around (other than pulling new speaker cables for rear speakers of course =))

Good luck!

Default Re: Has anyone installed a navigation system in their a4

Yup, I just did a system with a Blaupunkt TravelPilot in my '96. Works great. It seems much more accurate than the Alpine I had in my last car, and I like the UI a lot better too.
