Help? A3 '08 Order Weirdness?

I placed my order last Friday for my '08 A3 or so I thought.... I got a call today saying that although the order guide shows that Nav $1,950 (PNZ-iPod or PND-6 CD changer) and Sound (PBS) $1,350 were separate orderable together packages that you could NOW NOT order them both. This means that you can have Nav OR Sirius/Bose but not both together. This makes no sense to me nor to my Audi sales rep who is re-checking again why the order was sent back. Any insight would be helpful.... Thanks.

They can both be ordered together. PNZ or PND requires you to have the Sound PBS... however PBS also requires the Convenience pkg - PPX. That might be the problem if you didn't order PPX.

Yes the options that I am (hopefully...) going to pay for via the 20Apr07 Audi Order Guide are:

Convenience PPX
Sound PBS
Cold Weather PAW
Open Sky 3FB
Bluetooh 9ZG
Nav 6CD PND
Bi-Xenon PX3
Sunshades 3Y4

Never seen before by me Ice Silver paint P5P5
Light Grey Interior MD all on a 8PA52X.

So I had this covered with my order. What I can't see, but have been assured of, is that all these options were on the order input form the order "dude" was using online at the dealership. I did ask the dealer what price shows on their order screen for PND? If it is $3,300 then, most likely, all is well.

Still waiting the hear back.

KBB has the 2008 A3 up...and it is exactly like the 20Apr08 order guide. Edmunds and NADA only have the 2007 A3's listed...

My salesman heard back from AoA. They said: right now there is a "problem" with the Symphony II+ radio and Sirius so they have temporarily suspended the "sound" option. This makes no sense since we are trying to order Nav + Sound. They are "working on it". This really sucks.

Ok, the ordering foul up has been fixed. My order went in today. My sales specialist said that he called AoA and they updated the 2.0T option order codes for the Nav to be the same as the 3.2 (Premium Sound is already part of the 3.2's) options. So now both PNZ and PND 2.0T are invoicing around $2,950...Bose Premium, Nav, Sirius, and either 6CD or iPod.

Edmunds has updated and reposted the '08 prices/order guide. It looks like the options and codes have all been fixed. And happily Nav + has actually *dropped* several hundred dollars in price.
