07 Tech Package + iPod Question

Finally got around to installing the i-Audi-R direct to the head unit, on a 25-degree afternoon.

Upon testing, the steering mounted audio controls no longer work. Is this likely the result of the dip switches set as following?

Car Config Switch: Off Off
iPod Config Swithch: On On

The Dice docs suggest that for "Audi vehicles only:" setting both Car Configs to On On would, "allow DISC selection without interrupting the audio. However, this mode is not supported by all Audi radios."

Any thoughts/suggestions about whether this is likely to restore audio steering control?

Is 25 degrees hot or cold for you?
For me it's 25 degrees C, so it's quite hot...

That being said, I have the DICE module installed in my car with the same config (Car off off, iPod on on) and it's works ok. It's not perfect, as sometimes, the interface doesn't seem to interact with the iPod, but a simple disconnect/reconnect clears that up.

When trying to quickly scroll up/down a playlist the ipod falls behind where the radio track is but radio resets itself to ipod track number automatically. This is due to the syncing the DICE is doing.
