Rattle behind glove box. Only at idle, with heat settings on CC

The dealer has the 3 today looking for the above rattle. They feel confident as to its cause. The rattle sounds like a plastic bit stuck in the CC fan. Is there a service bulletin for this? I'll post an update when I get the car back.

I have this same symptom (2007 2.0T). Was it the fuel line?

coy when I asked what they did. The service invoice is being mailed to me. If any parts are mentioned I'll post. Car was in for two hours.

Was there a service bulletin anyone can provide? (can't find anything)

Symptom: rattling sound, seemingly from behind glovebox. happens at idle with our without brakes. Giving blip of throttle to raise RPMs slightly alleviates it. Wife and I find it totally annoying.

Thanks for any help. I need it.
