Default did I recall you predicting back in November that A3 sales were headed off the cliff?

happily that seems not to be the case, and I fully believe that , in its segment, (which is small, and littered with failures) that this model will ultimately be judged a success.

nice chart, BTW.

Default Are the numbers 'production complete' and/or 'delivered'. March could be on the boat 'sold orders'?

Default Glad to see it. What is interesting to me is the variety of people attracted to the car. Lots of

women (for a change), empty nesters, S4, A6, and M3 folks, and the younger element - whom I wonder if they might drift over to the GTi camp now that a 2 door is on the market?

Default 26 year old male here...

...and I'd consider myself part of that younger segment. I just bought my A3 a few days ago and at the time my local VW dealership had 6 or 7 GTIs on their lot. I considered that car, but only for about 10 minutes. The exterior styling just doesn't do it for me - it's almost TOO "cute". The previous generation GTI was a more elegant looking car. The new one looks like it belongs to a freshman college girl. Nothing wrong with that, but its just not me.

Default Yeah, got mine on 4/24/05 and it was the first A3 the dealer sold.
