Default Looking into buying an A3, suspension questions

Default Sport is lower and stiffer. If like previous Audis, about 30% stiffer.

The power seats in the Premium package are a nice touch if you're hard to fit. The sport package seats are manual, but more orthopedically comfy for very long hauls. So it depends if you make short trips (get Premium) or longer drives (get sport).

Default Yep the sport suspensions have always had diff shocks and springs, sometimes even larger swaybars.

Default No sorry that would be you.

We did a comparison at a BBQ in July at Chris's house(6 A3 in attendance, 4 sports, 2 premiums), all stats were posted on fortitude. Same shocks, different springs, sway bars were same size, but uknown if same model (probably so unless hollow)

Default I would hardly call this conclusive. Like he said, he needs to check PNs.

What Chris wrote on Fourtitude . . .

Didn't check shock part numbers.. However I just pulled mine off to do my coilover install and I noticed the part number on the sticker is different then the number stamped on the shock. So even if ETKA shows a difference the actual parts may be the same if we check the stamped numbers. will have to do some investigating.
The swaybars I never got a real reading one only was able to do a comparison since my caliper batteries were dead. They were working the other day so maybe they have enough juice I an measure them while I am in there finishing up the coilover install.

---------

The sticker with the PN over the other one could merely be the VAG PN versus the shock company's stock #.

Default A related question. Roadholding Numbers.

Anyone have the roadholding numbers for the sport package? I've only seen the Car and Driver numbers for the premium package.
