You either need it or you don't. There are those that don't have an issue with getting the 2.0T. And those that need quattro due to location etc.... & will wait for it on the 2.0T or get the 3.2 in a year or so.
I dont think some one that lives in Vermont for example should be getting a car with out quattro. I know I wouldnt, I use to live in Western NY, and there is no way any car I had up there wouldnt have Quattro. They should wait, and even though it may be tempting now, its better in the long run for them. I and many in the South are lucky to fit in a demographic that doesnt mind this (no quattro) or need it (especially confirmed after driving the car)...nothing more. I dont think there is really a debate.

I drove in Milwaukee for years with FWD and you know - you can do it juuuuust fine. I'll take FWD for better acceleration, better gas milage, and $2400 spent on othe options like premium and xenon. Dealers in Seattle don't even carry FWD A4s - so I'm glad the A3 is coming in FWD only.
