I cant remeber where but I read about other VAG group cars leaking water due to a loose pollen filter. Both Golfs and SEATs, a problem across the whole company maybe?

My polen filter got changed a week ago and I was afraid such a thing could happen to me. The dealer said that this is bound to happen if the filter gets fitted poorly and they have been aware of this since 4 years. Not a single case has been reported from the cars serviced by them. I hope so, but seeing is believing

Ask your dealer to get them changed under warranty.
I had my carpets repeatedly soaked and it's impossible to get them dry as there is a thick ammount of faom padding attached to the carpet which does not dry out. |
