Default BOSE sound system errors

Hello I have a 00` S3 with The Bose sound system, Sub and cd-changer. Sometimes when i turn it on the display reads "CD00 TR00" but still plays the music of the CD and track that are loaded. A few times the sound system appears to be "jammed" when this is displayed and won`t play radio CD or tape. Are there anyone else out there who has suffered these symptoms?

Default Same happens with standard concert system...

Hi,

I get the same "CD00 TR00" error now and then in my A3 1.8T, with the standard radio & cd autochanger. And you are right, the music still plays. But the system has never jammed on me.

To resolve the problem, I usually switch of the head-unit for a few seconds. Using the tried and tested computing method of "If in doubt re-boot!". If that doesn't work, I usually skip forward a few tracks, it then starts to count the disk/tracks again.

I know the above is not a solution. So I would also be interested to hear if there is a real solution to this problem.

Regards,

Alan

Default Re: BOSE sound system errors

It is a known Audi Problem in the UK. Some problems caused by the Xenon and the other by some bad head units.

My Bose system occasionaly does this sometimes it just catches up if you leave it, or you just skip forward then back a track to rectify.
