Tomorrow I get my A3 (after 4 months....)

Yes, tomorrow, after waiting for 4 months, I get my black A3 TDI 110hp here in Spain. I just can't wait to sit on the driver's seat and turn it on, change gears, accelerate, brake, etc. Until now I was driving an '86 Golf GTD with good result (320,000 km and still fine) but I sold it last week for 1,200 USD (not bad). You're lucky to be getting it that quickly! I ordered an A3 T Quattro at the end of June. I was told in November that it would be delayed until the end of January, but I could have an S3 by the end of the year, so I changed my order. I was then told that it would be built in week 3 this year, and then last week I was told it would be built in week 8.
Just to complicate matters, I am in the UK but I have ordered the car from the Netherlands.

It´s incredible. I don't understand why they take so much time.
I wanted you buy my S3 where I live, and they told me that it would take five months to arrive.
I didn't like that, and then I decided to look for other alternatives.
Finally I bought my S3 in Madrid, because they made me wait only one month and a half (and I paid four thousand dollars less!!!!!!!).

Si, soc catala.

Finalment vaig poder gaudir del nou A3 negre aquest cap de setmana. Va perfecte. Dona una sensacio de seguretat brutal, i no sembla pas que sigui diesel. Encara que el regim de revolucions sigui bastant baix (1.500) toques una mica l'accelerador i s'embala de seguida.

A disfrutar tu tambe el S3 (suposo que es una altra historia)...
