Default I understand why you all want to get your hands on the S3

Last weekend I arranged a small race. We took a new S3 (only 200 miles so far) and a Porsche Boxster (3000 miles on the clock) to a small airfield which can be booked for private races like this (not officially though ).

Well I guess you all know the result. The Boxster didn't even get a chance to come close the S3. The start was quite close, the first curve and the Boxster started to back off. It was amazing to see how fast the S3 exits a curve. In the straights the S3 is at least 10mph faster than the Boxster. At the end of the tenth lap the Boxster was already 30 sec behind the Audi.

An S3 costs $52000 here in Turkey and a Boxster costs around $83500 (because of tax regulations). I guess my friend is now wondering, why he paid so much for that Boxster. Of course owning a Porsche Boxster is much more prestigious, especially when you park your car in front of a night club, but when it comes to head-to-head, the S3 eats them for breakfast.

I hope, that Audi USA changes it's mind and lets you enjoy this amazing piece of machinery like the rest of the world.

I will post the pictures of the car soon... Keep tuned

Default Coming Soon

Thanx for the kind reply. I took the pictures, but was too busy and too lazy to scan them. I think, I will be able to post them very soon.

Just keep watching this space...

p.s. If you tell me what resolution your desktop size is, I can scan one image at that resolution for you. S3 looks great as a wallpaper, too.

I totally agree with "ravenx". I love to drive up to a Boxter from behind and challenge them with my Xenon headlights. I enjoy the look on the Boxter drivers face change from a self confident smile to utter dispair, when I leave them in the dust with my Audi S3 MTM.
You can tell which Boxter drivers who have previously encountered S3's, since they yield immediately when you present your Xenons.

Another good challenge is to give the BMW guys a lesson. Especially the BMW 328Ci guys.
The only exception is the BMW M5 and the new M3.
