If enough customer interest is shown, AoA will realize they need the A3 to bring people into the Audi family and "groom" them for larger models. List your thoughts so AoA sees them.

I called Leith Audi and the S3 mentioned is a european students car. The guy I talked to in the service department (Andy/919-469-9542) said to forward any inquiries to him and he would pass them on to the owner. He said that there were numerous inquiries from people and questions of the availability of the car. Imagine that, from a car in for repair, relativedy hidden from view of the public. Audi is really missing the boat here. The US is the largest auto market and to not offer a great car like the S3 here is pretty insulting. Why bother building advanced cars then not sell them? The arguement of the car not fitting the luxury image is a silly. AoA's customer satisfaction people who called after buying my 1999.5 A4 1.8 tq said they would "pass along" my comments when I expressed my dissatifaction with Audi's policy of not offering the car here. While the A4 is a nice car, I greatly prefer the nore nimble proportions and performance of the S3 and as many others reading this forum would buy it in a instant. I am more than a little envious of you who can buy the car. Enjoy!
