Default Will AW.com update the forum?

Been browsing quietly on AW.com for a few weeks now and I must say, no offense, it has the absolute worst forum software i've ever seen.

Has AW.com even considered changing over to a much more organized looking forum...like say 90% of car forums? There's nothing more annoying then clicking on a response that doesn't have a message. Why do people respond in the subject?

Geez...it's really annoying. Sorry for all the bitching, but is AW.com going to switch? If not, I guess i'll deal with it.

Default You're in the vast minority. AW is the best forum around.

Learn how to use it properly and I'm sure you'll agree.

" There's nothing more annoying then clicking on a response that doesn't have a message."
Why would you click on a post that doesn't have any text? There is a NT icon at the end of the subject line that means "No Text".

Check the forum FAQ and review your forum preferences.

Default There are other options for you.. most here seem to like this forum.

If you are looking for other options for site layout I'd recommend looking at audizine or fourtitude. If you want the most comprehensive and largest group of enthusiasts and audi information this is the site to be at. Over time you learn to get used to how this site works. Some tricks to know are using thread tracking which will allow you to keep track of threads you have an interest in. The reason people respond in the subject line is that most answer can be summed up in the subject line. Others know when there is only text in the subject line and no body text by the Click the image to open in full size. picture that appears next to the subject line. this prevents people from clicking on posts with no text.

As far as audiworld ever changing their site layout I don't forsee that happening. If you check out the page rank for audiworld vs some of the other sites like audizine or fourtitude you'll quickly notice that audiworld is the more popular site. We also load the fastest. clearly this layout is working for some reason.
