What is the recommended way to handle this then? Doesn't make sense that we can't keep others informed of products on ebay, especially if I'm not connected to the product or seller in any way.

It's very "odd" that Audiworld would not allow links to eBay, whether the item is being sold by the user or not, and than ALSO try and profit off eBay and have a banner ad from them.
At least include some reasoning why, i.e. to protect the users from possible scams and hoax's. Policy doesn't condone eBay or its use, auctions or links to. Banner ads do condone eBay, it's use, and even is linked to from within eBay. I don't know what legal advice was given to creating the TOU, but I don't see why if things are highly questionable it can't be "mom & pop" style and explained a little. Seriously that's like telling your kid not to go to **** sites and than sending him links all day long.
