but since they are computer controlled, the 1.8T controller might not work with the 2.8 trans.

I'd also have to see pic of the bellhousing to see if it would even bolt up to the motor.

Default hmm I would think so.

For one. the Gear ratios of the 1.8T tip and the 2.8's are identical. so is the transmision code.

I think you would want to keep the stock Transmission control unit since it is probably optimized for the engine output characteristics.

so im reading that the 2.8 tranny tip out of the a4 and a6 tranny will bolt up to 1.8t motor with tip tranny with no modifications is this true at all
