Default Non-Linear acceleration w/Neuspeed VBL Chip???

Under light acceleration, (2/3rd gear w/tip) from 15-40mph the power in my car seems to be "pulsing" (for lack of a better term). It's not smooth, it has peaks and valleys but the tach. continues to rise smoothly. Any thoughts? Just a minor gripe other then this, the chip has delivered as promised and I'm very pleased (and this might have nothing to do with the chip). Please no chip bashing or childish bantering.

Default Change the bypass valve and reset the ecu the pulsing should go away.

Default Try fuel with additional octane...

I experienced a similar pulsing in 4th and 5th gears at highway speeds with my APR chip. I was running 92 octane fuel at the time. I went to a 94 octane fuel and that seems to have resolved the problem.

It may be worth a quick test to see if better fuel fixes the problem.

My theory is that my knock sensors and the ECU were doing their jobs and retarding the timing when they detected the possibility for detonation/pinging.

If the better gas doesn't help, trying an upgraded bypass valve has seemed to help others on the board.
