I think the brushed aluminum will look a lot nicer than the 3.2 TT's black plastic, but we'll see. Looks like they'll fit fine, but the wires on the R32 paddles aren't long enough, so some splicing will be involved.
I won't get the car back for a few days, so I'll let you know how the installation goes later in the week.

Well...
I'm taking it in today after work, which means that they probably won't start doing anything until Wed. I need them to do the following:
1. Alignment.
2. Center steering wheel.
3. Install aluminum paddles.
4. Check headlight alignment.
5. Get out the swirl marks they put in by using a buffer against my wishes. I'm providing 3M swirl remover which they are to use BY HAND only!
The problem with the alignment and off-center steering wheel occurred when I installed the MkI control arms. I needed the car for the weekend and they needed more time to complete the work. So they'll finish that up this time. I'm guessing that all of this will take a couple of days.

I may well be. Maybe shoot me an e-mail. Of course...
I'm assuming they complete the work by this weekend. You never know what's going to happen once they get into it.

Makes sense now.. would you be able to possibly take pics of the paddles install?
Or at least ask them what's involved in the swap, i.e. turn airbag off, remove steering wheel cover, etc..
Thanks!
