Default "FUSE" appears in odometer. What's this about?

Please don't reply, "A fuse is out!"

I can't find any reference to this in the owner's manual. Can anyone tell me what this means, for example, which fuse it might be referring to?

Full story: Check engine light came on. No symptoms. Cleared codes, and they did not reappear. But this "FUSE" thing appeared in the odometer instead of the mileage indicator. I zeroed the odometer and the "FUSE" text went away.

What's going on?

Default I had the same exact same thing happen when I first bought my car....

no reference in the manual or Bentley. Everyone here thought I was crazy! I cleared it and it never came back.

Total mystery....

Default What mileage are you at?

Maybe it is some sort of service indicator.
