Default Car starts, but when put into any of the gears it does not move.

Starts and runs very quiet. The problem i have with it is, it goes into gear without any hassle but it does not move forward. Its like it stuck in Park. When i drained the Tranny fluid it only drained out 3 Qts. of oil and it smelled very bad and was almost black. When i put the car into gear 4th or D and rev it up over 2k the Indicators all light up (Safe Mode)

I have replaced the Tranny fluid today( but it only took 3 Quarts??? which is very low. Ive reset the tranny comp. and unhooked the battery for 30min. and still nothing.

What could i be missing?

ive got 3 codes come up on the VAG-COM
P0765 Shift Solenoid D Circuit Malfunction
P0100 MAF or VAF Circuit Malfunction
Incorrect gear ratio was the last code ive got.

Default I think you are still short some tranny fluid. Should take 8-9 quarts.

Default Try it one more time.

If you change the filter, make sure that you have the correct filter!

Default You only put in 3qts? That might be a problem; it needs 8-ish. Read the procedure 8(

all shift indicators are on which is fine. The only time they get highlited is when i put it into any gear besides R and give it some throttle over 2K RPM.

The error i get is Gear ratio incorrect.

see to me it seems like the "pump is not pushing the liquid from the oil pan into the tranny, hence only the 3-4QTS of oil.

Thx for the encouraging words

Problem is im in CANDA and these guys are rare, so getting any work done on my tranny is going to cost alot of pennies...

I have no problems with the procedure, its just that the Oild pan just spits it out if i try to put any more in....

ive left it in every gear for around 30-45sec. and then back again...something is not letting it circulate...

When you put it into gear, do u have to hold down the Brake after its in the gear? Not the handbrake, thats pulled.
