Default I cant imagine how it happened

the inside fender liner cracked, not a little crack but a massive hole. Musta been a rock or something . My question is do you think that i should relace it? The piece that i am talking about is the plastic liner inside the fender above the wheel on the passengers side. Basically it stops mud, water, dirt from flying up into the front bumper/fog lights. I am 50/50 on replacing it anyone else have an opinion?

Happy Easter

Default Personally, I would at least attempt to repair it. They are easy to remove.....

and reinstall, so take it out and try to epoxy a new piece of plastic over the hole. I imagine a new one would be somewhat $$$.

I have changed them on a A4 I used to have, they're extremely easy to change, not so sure how much would they cost for an A8, but they were like $50 each for the A4, give the dealer a call, you may be surprised, otherwise you can try to repair it, but I'm not so sure how long it will last, it is a thin piece of plastic.

Default thanks. You think that that is 29.99 plus 39.99 for shipping

or 39.99 including shipping?

Default I would replace with new...it holds your bumper in place on the bottom corner.

It kinda flaps around and doesn't align the bumper to the fender/wheel well if it isn't tightened down. I had this when I didn't have the screw in the actual threaded backing and it came loose.
