Default I must say the S8 is an awesome track car for how large it is....

my wife was 9 seconds away from lapping a chipped/ STaSIS motorsport suspension RS6 at Fernley this weekend. She was amazing in the S8....we were in the same run group and I could'nt belive how fast she was....I had a hard time keeping up with her in the S's. Better pads, Motul 600, OZ's with Dunlop Super Sport Race, GIAC ECU/TCU. There were few cars faster then her out there. Kudos S8!!!

Default I could not agree more!!!

I wore out my 2nd set of Alcon rotors last weekend at Mid-Ohio, but even that's not bad after ~2700 miles on track. If we could just find a stiffer rear sway bar for our cars, we could take it to another level.

Default I do have to say it's all in the driver's ability

However, I love driving my A8 on the track set up similar to your wife's car.

When you can catch a Noble in three laps that was about 1/2 mile ahead of you, you're going pretty fast.

When you have a whole track weekend in the advanced run group and don't get passed once, you're going pretty fast. Passed about 70 cars the whole weekend. And this included RS6's without a problem.

There was a guy in a B6 S4 that I couldn't keep up with after 3 laps and decided it would be better to let him go and work on my abilities and not chase him and crash my car.

Even in autocross, my A8 took 2nd in D class and beat out many other cars. It was about 15th overall out of 70 cars and it was the largest there.

But you know what it's all about? The driver. I've seen it many times on the track and that's the truth.

Randy Probst got in my car for the first time and turned 1-2 seconds faster than I ever have in my car at Mid Ohio with my extra 220 lb frame in the car.

It's all driver.

And I would like to run on the track with your wife someday, sounds like she is an awesome driver!
