C'mon over!
However, I will be cruising from Sunny Galveston to two Mexico ports over the next 7 days....but I'll leave the keys for the garage under the rock in the yard!

Re: C'mon over!
Well Paul, I'm Cruising as of Saturday of next week from the mysterious realm of the "Big Easy" new orleans to the Western Caribbean for 10 days...so...looks like we'll miss each other. But it's the big grey rock right? ;0)

Re: Is there effect of X-pipe, if simply instal its after cats before stock midle resonator?
That's where it is installed. From the factory it comes with a joined H pipe. The cats are far up the line right off the headers.

Replacing the H-pipe with an X-pipe, Sven found ...
<i>"Much to my surprise the sound is softer. Didn't expect that really. It's also 'rounder', and more 'balanced', which was expected. It sounds more 'German' now, if that makes sense. Less low V8 rumble, more an aggresive rev-happy performance sound. Less noticable on cruising speeds, but as soon as you blip the throttle there's little doubt what this baby can do.
Performance is definitely improved in the higher revs. Again as expected, but more noticable as I had dared to hope. On an initial test the MAF reading came to 292.5 g/s. Not too shabby methinks."</i>
Sven's car has an aftermarket resonator and dual mufflers, but I believe you could expect similr results with the stock resonator and muffler.
Sven first tried this ... no crossover.

Didn't like the performance or sound ... and added this.

And finally replaced the H-pipe with the X-pipe.

I would like to put the Xover on and remove the rear muffler.
Has anyone tried anything like this yet. I like the sound of the enging amlified by the lack of the rear muffler and have seen it done without the Xover on a few cars. or am i mistaken? The idea of a softened sound amplified has sparked my curiosity.
