Default Asked for a window frame adjustment (noise), dealer asks $400. Although...

...I'm still on original warranty, they claim adjustments like this (similar to rattles) are only covered free of charge in the first 12mos/12k miles. It's the upteenth time I've been told that 12mo/12kmil crap. Anyone has ANY document that shows this to be the case in the original warranty period? I'm about to call AoA and request some documentation...

Default "Call AoA and ask" for assistance!?! LOL! Read your warranty......

and if it doesn't specifically state that these items are not covered, go back to the dealer and show it to them. If they still refuse, threaten legal action. I HATE frivolous lawsuits, but hopefully the threat will make them come to their senses.

Default If it's a wind noise

Make sure your jack point under the front side of the door is in there.....if it falls out (like mine did), it makes a wind noise.

I bought a new one ($25), but have yet to install it!

Default Yep, you'd mentioned this before. All rubber covers still there!

Default I'm trying to double-check w/ you guys on that "12mo/12kmil" for rattle, etc. thing, since...

...I haven't been able to see this on the warranty documentation. I'll go back and re-read it again. Thanks.

Default Hard to imagine that "like this" is wording used anywhere ...

in the warranty documentation. I'd also assume that the adjustment is covered.
