Default Are there any key code adjustments to the tranny of an S8?

Even with everything else there is an 'annoying' 1-2 second delay in downshifts. Is there a way to remove or reduce this either via key code changes (VAG-COM tool) or a TCM chip or something?

In tip mode there is no such problem of course...

Overall, what adjustments can be had with a VAG-COM tool for an S8 re: transmission?

Default Hmm. The service manager said "all is normal" when they tested it...

...but, boy, this is not how an AMG is responding to the gas pedal! There must be a way (prob. through a Germany company) to liven it up a bit.

The car is indeed meant to be driven on the autobahns where accumulating speed to go faster is more important than instant-on accelaration for a very short distance...

Default The statement I've seen, that applies to that comment -

"An A8 (S8) is a powerful car, but not a fast car."

Or maybe it was "quick" instead of "fast", but you get the idea.
