Anybody got an answer to what this code means? I have 2000 S4 Tip tranny

I erased the CEL couple of times but it keeps on coming back up.

Have to mention that I rebuilt transmission about 2 years ago and spent $4,000. Replaced- TC, Valve body, other small dorky stuffs that needed to be replaced... My car runs like S###.. it jerks while im driving & has unstable idle. When I am about to stop at the red light, it makes CLUNK~~~!!! down shifting noise from second gear to first gear.

TC went out, or possible low fluid.

TC went out means, broke? is that mean I have to spent another extra Gs?

impossible... I sometimes see valuable information from STFA but most of them are either joke related or not related to the problem I am having... I will try to call some companies tomorrow morning.

..and was concerned about the very issue you are having, so I did quite a bit of reading on the issue of TCs. My best guess is that it needs to be rebuilt, but it is possible that the fluid is just low. Have you ever cleared the code and noticed when it comes back? I remember that there is something to with the way it comes back in relation to determining whether the fluid level is low, but I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in...
