Default Replaced the oil temperature sensor today.

This is integrated into the oil level sensor in the bottom of the oil pan. Known as sensor G266. P/N 1J0-907-660-B (1J0907660B for archive searches.)

The Bentely incorrectly shows a drawing for the 2.8 which must have a seperate single wire oil temperature sensor near the crankshaft pulley. The 2.7T however apparently has the oil temperature sensor built into this G266 sensor.

Bentley does not even show a drawing of the oil pan that has a spot where this sensor would go, and definitely does not have a torque spec for the three bolts holding it there. (Went with 10Nm since nearly every other M6 bolt is set to that torque apec.)

There was text about the G266 sensor basically saying if you get code...

00562
Oil level thermal sensor -G266-
Open circuit/short circuit to B+

...check wiring or replace G266 sensor.

Old ETKA does show it properly in the drawings.
