I'm trying to diagnose some problems with my car running a little hot. The after run fan runs erratically and my coolant and engine oil temps get a little hotter than normal. I figured I'd try to replace the coolant temperature sensor and auxiliary fan thermoswitch to see if that solves it since the parts are only $20. The problem is, where are they? I think I found them but I'm not sure. Here's some pics I took of where I think they are.

The location of the coolant temperature sensor just below the accordian tube on the passenger's side of the engine bay.

The location of the auxiliary fan thermoswitch behind the radiator on the passenger's side towards the bottom of the engine bay.

Those look right. FYI I got the sensors from the dealer for the same price you listed.

aux fan is in the back of the engine bay. i moved the coolant res. to get to mine. no pic though.

Isn't that the afterrun thermoswitch? Different from the one near the radiator right?
