First check your fluid level, if low top off fluid.. Next check measuring value block 007 in transmission and check for converter clutch lock up and see if it's slipping, if it is replace valve body. You may also have a worn or faulty coverter. if you need any more help let me know and I'll see what I can find.

Default I had that code. TC was replaced under warranty. My symptoms....

When in tip mode, 4th or 5th gear only, there was ~700 rpm of "play" between on and off throtle. This only applied above 2000 RPM.

If it is what I had, I hope you are under warranty. If not, look into a levelten TC. This will get you one step closer stage 3. Based on paperwork from dealer and prices on-line, it was almost $3K in parts and labor.

I do have an extended warranty which specifically covers the TC.

Default Yet another Torque Converter toasted ! (RU reading this BLK01S4 ?)

This makes 4 people I know who have toasted their TC. Have you done many Toque-Brake launches ?

Since this can be toasted on > Stage 1 power, my suggestions:
a) if warranty, fix and stay stock
b) get it upgraded e.g. with Level 10 Torque Converter and maybe do Hydrosystem or Valve body upgrade also

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1712209.phtml</a

Maybe 3 torque stands total (during my ownership). Have done 0 since TC replaced.
