Default Did the Darintake mod tonight with some Lowes creativity...

Supplies used:

3" Bass Port
Kitchen Sink Strainer
3" Clamp

Total Cost $5.89

I removed my airbox, cut out a 3" hole with my Dremel. Hacked the bass port tube to half it's height. Took the metal ring off the sink strainer. Pushed the bass port tube through the hole. Placed the wire mesh over the tube and secured it with the clamped. I put some silicone around the opening to prevent water from getting in. Overall very easy, similar to what MarkP did only with a few different items. I can't really tell much of a difference with my K&N panel filter, maybe with a cone I will. I really didn't know what to expect, between shifts it seems a tiny bit crisper, it was raining hard out so I will have to wait for better weather to give her a good romp!!

I swear the 4th clip on this airbox was engineered by a ****.

Default EVOMS intake

But the EVOMS intake on last week. Performs well but the build quality is questionable. Lot of extra racket in the engine bay too.

Nice !! After three years, I still haven't seen a wheel I like more than the Riva's.
