Default Audi says my turbo doesn't work.

I took my car to my local Audi dealership because I thought it was kinda slow. Turns out my turbo isn't working. I have some questions:
Could it be my BPV not functioning?
How can I test it without buying a boost gauge?
Should I put in a KO4?
What do you guys think I should do?

Default broken turbo isnt 'kinda slow' - you'll know for sure

definitely something else than the turbo itself

Default well if its the turbo, might as well go for atleast the k04 + FPR (and/or injectors)

Default Could the BPV be the problem.

I really don't know what part the BPV plays in the system, but could it cause the majority of the boost to be lost?

Default Yes .. if the BPV diaphram is torn you would lose boost big time.

Default Pull the hose on the front edge of the intake manifold and put a vacumm on it. If you can pull a vac

it is likely alright. If it won't the diaphram is likely gone. You want to have a fresh clamp as the OEM WILL get dicked up pulling it off.

Default Also .. they will often make a nasty sound when the pressurized air goes thru them .. burst hose can

also be at issue. Just make sure the dealer checks and eliminates the simple items BEFORE they try to sell you a turbo.
