Default Cylinder 3 Random Misfire Help

I know this is a common topic, but I have tried most of everything I have found to no avail. So far i have tried:

New spark plugs
New coils
Moving injectors to see if it moved with them
New ICM

It seems to be more prevalent at lower RPMs. I have a feeling that it might be the wiring harness. This is a pretty high-mileage car, so is there anything that tends to go bad with lots of miles? What are you guys' thoughts? Thanks for the help!

Do you get only the P03003 code?
Nothing else?

Misfires are hard(er) to troubleshoot - eg. I had to clean the RPM sensor for random misfires at cold start (but for all cyls though ....)

Where did you get the ICM from?

Nightmare is all I can say. I have a Cylinder 3 misfire. Replaced all spark plugs, all coils still rattling and idling well below 1 - almost stopping. So a mechanic discovered a hole in the intake manifold.

Lets see if this is the cause of the misfire. Otherwise it could be a cylinder gone back. and thats over 2 thousand dollars.

The history is that my check engine light was on for a long time - 2 thousand miles or so - Why did I ignore it? There are numerous electrical problems. I thought is was that.

I guess I will find out Monday.

I drove 20K with check engine light, on my old A4 (which I still have). Initially it was just O2 sensor, but then one day I was driving and the car engine just cut out. MY cylinder heads needed to be replaced. My German specialist mechanic found a unit on Ebay for $350 and installed for $650. So, you might want to check Ebay for a used component.
