They couldn't really refuse the sale. I ended up with 5.5% off MSRP with no Audi NA club or loyalty discounts.

The buyer has the advantage. You don't need the car, but they need the sale.
5.5.% discount msrp OTD? Or 5.5% + tax? Like others I'm considering purchasing a q5 soon as well

I am located in SF bay area as well and just ordered my 2014 q5 from Audi Stevens Creek, I got about 7% off MSRP without any incentives. Audi Stevens creek will beat any offers you get around, they are the largest Audi dealer in west coast, and you can get your order earlier than other dealers as they have more allocations. James is our salesman there. Good luck!

5.5 off MSRP. Then add tax, tag, title and a 499 dealer prep fee.

Default +1 on Stevens Creek

I posted more feedback some time ago on the Nor Cal board, but the net was Stevens Creek hands down. Carlsen played pricing games--said charitably--and Rector couldn't honestly get their act together. The salesman from SF who used to frequent AW never responded; I have since found posts saying he is now in Sana Cruz. I didn't try the East Bay ones or the Marin ones, but as the prior poster said, it was obvious Stevens Creek had a high volume advantage. Straight forward to deal with as well, which is hit and miss in car sales.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I just put in a factory order on a 2.0 Premium Plus, MMI, Sports Package, aluminium inlays. Due the week of 1/20.

Funny you mention Stevens Creek Audi, they came back quickly and gave a 6% smackdown on MSRP. Had to go with them

Looking forward to this in a big way!

I just got my Q5 2.0T last week that I pre-ordered last July from Audi as Steven's Creek in San Jose, CA. They were great to deal with and I highly recommend that you speak to Cassandra Crawford-she's the fleet and internet sales manager.

Good luck!

Slightly off topic, but is there any reason why the S-Line package isn't available on the 2.0?
