Moisture in door jambs and on sills
2012 A6- does anyone else have water/condensation in the door jambs and on the sill after a rain, but more importantly still there for over a day? Mine seems to retain water there... CPO car but I still have the original warranty for a little while.
Thanks!
Thanks!

My 2012 does the same thing. At first I was concerned, but the dealer assured me this is normal. I've noticed that keeping the doors open a few minutes after a wash allows the water to drain and everything dries up much faster.

It stays outside the seal going into the cabin but it can enter the door itself from the bottom.. I'll keep an eye on it but I'm worried about the electronics in the door

Mine was so severe that water would puddle up on the front passenger side floor. This is a known design defect and Audi would replace the speaker seals under warranty.

I'll be calling today to set up a test/appointment. As its raining now they may accept that as the testing

Water does drain through the door....
when it rains, the door is not hemtically sealed from the rain, some water runs down the side glass into the door, out the bottom vents. That is where some of the sill water is from. Every Audi that I owned did this.
