Default Auxiliary water pump.

Specifically for 2000 and 2001 A4 (B5) with a 2.8 V6 .

1. Where exactly is pump mounted?

2. What exactly controls it ... sensors & control modules?

3. When does it run?

4. Is it located in the coolant flow path for the heater core.

Google just pulls up info on all other models & rambling by idiots. Just looking for facts.
Thank You

Been searching for many hours to turn up actual Audi tech manual data from another source. Posting to help others. I've been refering to this as an "auxiliary coolant pump" etc, whereas I find it may be properly termed an "After-run coolant pump".
