Does my 1995 S6 20vt have a all forged motor stock?

I've heard not all AAN have forged pistons. What cars/years did not have them

Where'd you hear that? All AAN's use the same part number internals from wrist pin bushes to rods

to rings...Forged crank, rods and pistons. I've never heard otherwise. The NF/NG have a forged crank and rods but cast pistons. But that's not a 230hp 20vt, but a 130hp 10v.

Javad mentioned not all AAN have fordged pistons but the 3B's do. Just came up in a conversation we had about a year ago.

I'd find that really hard to believe, since Audi increased the boost pressure, and also gave the car an over-boost feature to hit ~260lb-ft of torque.
