Default Cams for the 2.8 12V?

Greetings all. My A80 is a 2.0 currently, and am about 1/2-done with a custom turbo system for it (my partner and I build custom 16V turbo systems), but am considering just jumping to the 2.8 12V V6 from a 94 or 95 A90. I know the motor can easily be stroked to 3 litres, and you can always do headwork, but does anyone know if cams are available anywhere? I would have thought Schrick might, but none seem to be listed on their website, unless i missed it somehow. What about in the UK? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Default There are some Schricks available...

Not sure where people have been buying them, but they are out there...Another option is to use the Audi AAH cams, which have a more agressive timing than the AFC engine. You could also have them gun-drilled if you're looking to do lightweight internals. Search the forum, lots of info out there.

I went on to the actual schrick site and csme up short. Just really trying to find an outlet for these. have a guy here in seattle who has a whole setup from a 94 A90 with 5-spd trans he will sell me for 1000. Just trying to see if 200hp can realistically be achieved on this motor without going turbo, which would be a nightmare because there's just no room whatsoever in there.

Here's my list of mods on my 1995 Audi Sport 90 Quattro with 2.8L V6 engine:
7/24/03 - Installed Mance's Cold Air Induction System & Velocity Stack.
9/13/03 - Installed Mance's Stage 3 MAF & Stage 2 Hose Kit.
12/7/03 - Rebuilt heads, ported & polished and match port all gaskets to heads(both intake and exhaust).
3/26/04 - Replaced regular VS with Stage 3 Velocity Stack (S3 VS).
8/6/04 - Installed ported and polished IM with new XSTB from Mance(707 CFM).

Default If you make the engine 3-liters...

You will reach ~215+ hp with that alone. And if you do induction mods, and some work on the heads, you could push 250 or more...hp doesnt come easily with these engines, but its possible with lots of work.

Default He was selling them too, I don't know if they sold or not. Send him..

an email.

Eurospec has cams for the 12v in varying profiles. If possible, have whatever cams you buy gun-drilled to reduce the rotational weight IMO.

Keep in mind the rev limiter kicks in around 6250+RPM(??) on the 12v when choosing the degree. HTH.

Eurospec

Shricks are 264 degree cams, Eurospec has cams that range from 266 to 280. Found them in 1.2 seconds on Google. Hope it helps.
