thinking of purchasing a 2005 1.8t. question for previous B5 owners...
did anyone get a B6 after owning/leasing a chipped/upgraded turbo B5? reaction? if i purchased the B6 I would definitely chip it, but my intent is to have a car under warranty that I won't do anything to (chip excluded, of course). I'm worried that I may get tired of the car if not modded. i guess essentially, my question boils down to this:
How different is a chipped B6 from a k04'd B5? I don't want this to sound as if I think the B5 is superior and I'd be settling on a B6, that's not what I'm saying. And honestly, I think a chipped B6 would be plenty, I just want specific reactions from anyone who has gone this route. TIA.

standard chipped B6 is not enough for me......
I came from a 97 A4 2.8 12V to a 00 S4 GIAC chipped..to a 01 S4 Avant APR chipped...to a 99 A4 1.8T APR chipped...to a 05 B6 A4 1.8T Stage 2.

coming from a slightly modded 2001.5 B5 1.8t to a slightly modded 2002 B6 1.8t ......
you will need to do a lot more work to the B6 because of the weight. the B6 is a heavier car therefore it is obviously going to be slower. don't get it twisted though, i do like the B6 more than the B5 because of the room and the features.
