Very proud of my son post...Galen is back from Panoz Racing....
it all started with Galen 'following' me on the racing circuit. This was taken in 1990 when he was 6 yrs old and announced that he wanted to race some day...

Fast forward to now and here is the young man doing exactly what he said he wanted to do...

By 3rd day of school he was passing his instructors and anyone on the track. On Sunday..Lapping Days...he took first in his race. I watched the on board video of the race...he is excellent and what a sense of 'the line' and being smooth...as he said 'I feel at home in a race car.." What is next...might see him some day on ESPN :-).

he wasnt on the panoz GT race on Speedvision the other day was he?
lots of Panoz School white GT cars there I thought...
anyways - he's doing what I wish I had the time and $$ to do. Congratulations.

Great series. Why start out in Pro though?
Does he want to race open or closed wheel? I always wanted to try open wheel, but it never worked out with rides I was offered. 
To me Spec racing is the BEST way to show who is the best driver, not who has the deepest pockets! Any of the spec series are good racing.
Did you get a chance to see any of the RunOffs on Speedvision the last few weeks? Great racing, and the spec races were and always are the best.
