Information on 2000 TT Turbo for sale
Hi,
Brand new to the Audi TT forum. I am looking at a 2000 TT coup with 150K miles that has had some significant work done to it including a "rear frame". Not sure what that is but I know someone can give me a clue as to what was done to it. Everything seems to work on the car including the gas gauge and the AC.
If anyone can give me some helpful hints on what to look for I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Don in VT

Never heard of "rear frame" except as it relates to collision damage
If so, I'd stay away. The timing belt, tensioner, water pump, etc should have been replaced in the past 5 years or 60K, otherwise the car is a $5K+ repair time bomb when they fail. Make sure all the gauges and text on the dash read correctly. At 150K you can expect issues with clutch and suspension if not replaced already.
