Default New Springs lower to Euro specs

Anybody seen these in action yet?

http://achtuning.com/tag/sq5/

H&R Sport Springs for Audi’s SQ5 are now available from Achtuning! H&R Sport Springs for the SQ5 lower the front 1″ while bringing down the rear .8″, complimenting the SQ5′s looks by returning it to “European spec” ride height while maintaining factory like performance and comfort.

There was a pfaff tuning sq5 with hr springs. Looks good. Can't say I believe the part about maintaining factory comfort though.

I've been down that route before and have to agree with you. H&R is usually among the more "aggressive" aftermarket spring manufacturers IMO.

Unless the euro-spec dampers are identical to US, installing just the lowering springs is not the correct approach because it will put the dampers in a different zone, change the ride characteristics and compromise the comfort. The proper way would be to get OEM euro spec springs and dampers. Either that or coils.
