Default winter rims for 2015 a6 3.0t

Hi all,

I just bought my first "real" car...2015 A6 3.0T Prestige. Also opted for the 20" sports package. I'm not a "car guy", so I'm probably a little out of place here...but this is the first time I intend to buy a second set of winter wheels for a car and I was hoping someone could provide some guidance.

I'm looking to purchase Momo Drone 18x8 rims and 245/45R18 Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tires.

I believe this setup will work, but I am concerned about the 45mm offset on the rims. Is this too much? I want to avoid sticking out beyond the fender. Does anyone know the offsets for the 18" and 20" OEM rims?

Thank you in advance!

TireRack lists 18" wheels for the A6 with offsets ranging from 30-45mm, so you're good to go. I prefer have the tires "tucked" into the fenders in the winter, so all the crap thrown by the tires doesn't spray the sides of the car, which a 45 mm offset does.

Enjoy!

Thanks NABS4. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, still looking around to see if anyone's trying to sell used OEM wheels. Trying to avoid needing centering rings if the bore size is different on the aftermarket rims.

I tried calling the parts department at my dealership to figure out what the 18" OEM rim specs are (offset and bore size), but they required a VIN number to do the lookup...and my car is still being built, so it is currently unknown. So they were less than helpful.

Does anyone know specs for 18" OEM rims on a 2015 A6? Maybe I can find aftermarket rims with identical specs.

Thanks again!

I believe that the Rial brand wheels which TR sells have the proper 66.56 mm hub bore, which means no centering rings.

For Premium and Premium Plus yes, for Prestige (which comes with with S-Line exterior) no.

I can confirm this is correct. I bought these from TR last year along with Michelin X-Ice 3's. Great combo IMO.

I highly recommend hartmann rims for the Audi. More durable compared to the cheaper rims which will bend easily.
