Default Sport Rear Anti-sway Bar on Non-Sport?

I was just reading about Sport A6's & S6's upgrading the rear anti-sway bar with a larger Stasis rear bar. That made me thing about upgrading my Non-Sport A6 TDI with 19" wheels with the Sport rear bar.
Has anyone done this?
Should I do both front & rear Sport bars?
I like the Non-Sport ride since I do a lot of highway driving but I wouldn't mind reducing roll on ramps and when I need to drive around New England pot holes.

It's not going to affect your ride quality except in instances where you hit a pothole, or go over a speedbump with only one wheel. In simplistic terms, if you'll imagine that the bar and body try stay in parallel, if one wheel lifts up or drops down, it will cause the body of the car to want to lift up or down. Some refer to this as pogoing and you'll get more side-to-side head motion compared to a softer bar.

This is a very small price to pay for most folks for less body roll in turns.

Just my 2 cents.

To take on to what Rob said, most see enough of an improvement with just the rear bar. Especially since you are just looking for an improvement in your everyday driving.

Thanks for the replies!

I figured just the rear sway bar would be an improvement. I'm just looking for a bit of roll improvement and this sounds like a good way to go.

Does anyone know what the non-sport and sport/S6 front sway bar diameters are? I found the the rear 19.6mm & 20.7mm but I can't find the front.

Don't change the front. Stiffening the rear will give you what you want. Per recommendations, I installed the sport rear ARB only on my non-sport '01 A6 and it worked well without changing the geometry for the worse in hard turns. Every tech I spoke to at the time said to leave the front alone.

X2 - a stiffer front sway bar will cause the car to plow more/sooner. The larger rear bar makes it looser. I find loose to be more controllable.

Also to add, I don't think anyone makes a front bar yet. For the best I know, Stasis is the only producer right now and they only make the rear. They tell me their research says only a rear is needed. I can vouch for it so far. However I also have the sport package among other mods.
