Fault code help - Level and Suspension
I have an 04 allroad with the 4.2, V8.
The previous owner had replaced the suspension with Bilsteins. When the suspension adjusts, it takes quite some time to accomplish. Often will take 45 seconds to over a minute to change from 1 to 2 etc.
At the mechanics, I have 2 fault codes and I'm trying to figure out what to do first.
In the Level Control address, I get a fault 01772 - Signal from Level Control Pressure Sensor (G291) 27-10 - implausible Signal - Intermittent
In the Xenon Range address 55, I get a fault 00776 - Level Control System Sensor; Left front (G78). 28-0 - Short to Plus - Intermittent
Other important points:
The headlights do not move and find level when you start the car.
The pump doesn't sound loud or unusual.
There doesn't appear to be any letdown when parked overnight. The car will raise up slightly when started but it does that all the way around. I assume a small height change is due to coolingmovernight.
Question: could the Lever Control System Sensor be causing most of these problems?
Does anyone have experience with these fault codes? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
