Do all 2006 A6 come with this antenna or only with cars that have navigation?

All C6 cars come with the shark fin.

Is the C6 pre wired for navigation or would i have to buy a aftermarket cable kit to connect it to the antenna and MMI? Thanks ,

I read the directions but i am confused when it says "wiring kit" does that refer to a kit i could buy from Audi or are those wires already in the car?

I brought my wiring kit from genuineaudiparts for under 200, if memory serves me right. I hear from others who didn't have sat radio installed that there was a power and optical connectors available. There is a connector you can access to connect with the shark fin and not use a secondary GPS antenna. This does involve removing trim but it isn't that difficult, especially if you get the tool specialized for the removal and placing the clips. ive got a fully loaded a6, only thing missing was the phone prep.

can these shark fin be bought seperately from the dealers? wouldnt mind stickin one one just for the sake of it. (cosmatic purposes)

and any idea for how much?

could be. but ive seen uk cars with them on aswell, so ???

I was thinking maybe its the antena for the phoen cradle or something.

maybe im wrong
