Not to awake this thread from the dead... but I just ordered these for my 2010 A6 Prestige (Facelift, non S-Line):

Hopefully they fit as well as they have for others... but I really wanted to comment on those looking for a clear bulb alternative.

194 wedge bulbs are a direct replacement bulb... and you can get them in clear. Now it's a regular bulb, so don't expect a crystal white glow, but they aren't amber.

In conclusion... Ebay side markers by DEPO for an 8P A3 S-Line fit great in a facelift, non S-Line C6 A6.

Should work. Just put them on my '06 avant the other day. Here's a few pictures. I like the slightly smoked look with the black car better than the plain clear ones. The fit is easily as good as the original orange ones. Also did tinted side markers at the same time.

I have a black 2009 (face lifted) and A3 markers fit pretty good. ECS Tuning was having a sale awhile back and I got both clear and smoked. After trying them on, I liked the smoked version a lot better.

I tried these out on my 2005 s line bumper but they did not want to fit in the cutout despite looking similar.

Are there any other solutions on the market for clear markers?

Resurrecting this old thread. My wife made a boo boo on the right front of our non-S-Line 06 Avant, so I went ahead and scooped up a pair of these smoked lenses from the same eBay seller. The current stock lenses were already smoked(rattle canned) and are dull now but I like the smoked look over clear on the Atlas Grey color. Blends in better. Can't wait to slap on the new lenses in place of these tired ones. Here's how it looks right now:
