Default Re-designed A5

I've read that the 2015MY A5 will be completely redesigned. Is that true? If so, when should we expect to see the RS5 (in the US)?

the rs5 should be out by summer 2015 with a v6 twin turbo,475hp.

Loving ur taste in cars. I planned on buying an Aston this September, but my daily driver was becoming more unreliable, hence I had to replace it first. Perhaps I can PM you with ur opinions on your Aston?

Considering the facelift was done for 2013, I'm not so confident of a complete redesign for 2015. It's possible, but Audi typically likes to get more mileage out of its mid-cycle refreshes.

I expect it to be unveiled in 2015 as a 2016 model. As for the RS5, if the current RS5 is any indication, we may not see it stateside until the midcycle refresh. Although, seeing the RS7 being available now is a good indication that the next RS5 will not be delayed for the US market.

Thanks! Feel free to PM me anytime. I'm actually thinking of selling her for an RS5. I rarely get to drive her, so I feel it's a waste to sit in my garage.

I'm hoping it is delayed, if I end up getting the RS5.

I've seen several reports online the estimate the new A4 to hit Europe, summer 2015… with coupes following a year later. The US should see those models for the 2016/2017 MY.

I haven't seen anything on the RS5, though I'd imagine it would follow after the A5/S5 release in mid 2017.
